A woman needs to be aware of the early signs of ovulation if she wishes to conceive quickly.  Many couples try to get pregnant without a plan of action and they rely on luck or chance.  However, the most successful couples are always those that educate themselves and plan ahead.  This involves engaging in activities that will keep a woman healthy and being aware of the signs of ovulation.  It is always good to be aware of these signs when preparing for a pregnancy.

Increased temperature

A higher-than-average body temperature is one of the early signs of ovulation.  When the body heats up, it essentially makes it easier for sperm to live in a woman’s body and to reach her released egg.  This increase in body temperature usually lasts for a few days and coincides with the release of the ovum.  When a woman experiences elevated body temperature, it is usually one of the signs of ovulation.  To detect that temperature spike, measure your temperature every day before rising from bed.

More secretions

Another one of the early signs of ovulation is increase of vaginal secretions.  Like the increase in body temperature, these secretions signify that the body is ready for conception.  This discharge will usually be very clear and it will only occur once a month.  An increased amount of clear discharge is one of the early signs of ovulation.

Cramps

When a woman is having severe cramps outside of her menstrual period it usually signifies that her egg has been released.  The body needs to use certain muscles in order to allow the release of the egg.  These cramps normally only last for a day and are one of the early signs of ovulation.

Being able to detect ovulation at the early stages is very important when attempting to conceive.  Following these signs can increase the likelihood of pregnancy by an exponential amount.  The most successful parents are always those who plan ahead and heed the early signs of ovulation.
